Service terms
Terms and Conditions
Last updated:
ETA-UK.info is an independent application assistance service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the UK Government, the Home Office or UK Visas and Immigration. Government decisions are made only by the relevant UK authorities.
1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of ETA-UK.info and your purchase of its application assistance service. In these terms, “ETA-UK.info”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of this website and service; “you” refers to the person using the website or purchasing the service.
By submitting payment, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. If you submit information for another traveller, including a child, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that person and to provide their information.
2. The service we provide
ETA-UK.info provides independent administrative assistance for travellers preparing a UK Electronic Travel Authorisation request. The service may include collecting the information you provide, checking it for apparent omissions, preparing the requested assistance and communicating with you about next steps.
Completing the form or making payment does not itself submit information to the UK Government. Further review or action by our service team may be required. We do not provide legal advice and cannot determine whether you will be granted an ETA, a visa or permission to enter the United Kingdom.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- providing complete, accurate and truthful information;
- reviewing all details before payment and promptly correcting any error you identify;
- using the passport with which you intend to travel and ensuring it remains valid;
- providing photographs that meet the applicable requirements;
- monitoring the email address you provide, including its spam or junk folder; and
- checking current entry, visa and ETA requirements on GOV.UK before travel.
We are not responsible for a delay, rejection or other loss caused by information that is incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, submitted late or not updated after your circumstances change.
4. Service fee and payment
The price displayed at checkout is $64.00 USD for ETA-UK.info’s independent application assistance service. The amount is charged by ETA-UK.info and is not a payment to the UK Government.
Payments are processed using Authorize.net. Card information is tokenised and sent directly to the payment processor; ETA-UK.info does not store your full card number or card security code. Your card issuer may apply currency-conversion or other charges under its own terms.
You must use a payment method that you are authorised to use. A service order is accepted when payment is approved and recorded, although we may contact you if additional information is needed before work can continue.
5. Cancellations and refunds
To request cancellation, email admin@etraveladvisor.org as soon as possible and include your application reference. Do not include passport images, full card details or other sensitive information in the email.
If work on your personalised assistance request has not begun, an eligible cancellation request will be refunded. If work has begun, any refund may be reduced to reflect the service already performed, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Once the service has been fully performed, a refund may not be available except where required by law.
A government delay or refusal, a change in your travel plans, failure to provide requested information, or your discovery that you do not need an ETA does not automatically create a right to a refund because the fee pays for the independent assistance service. Nothing in these terms limits any cancellation, refund or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Processing times and email communication
We aim to begin processing after successful payment, but we do not guarantee a particular completion or government decision time. Timing may be affected by the accuracy of your information, requests for clarification, technical availability and the relevant authority’s processing.
Service communications will be sent to the email address provided in your application. Any ETA decision or confirmation issued for the application is expected by email. You must wait for confirmation that an ETA has been granted before travelling.
7. No guarantee of approval or entry
We cannot influence or guarantee any decision by the UK Government. Payment confirmation from ETA-UK.info is not an ETA approval, immigration decision or permission to enter the United Kingdom. An approved ETA permits travel to the UK but does not guarantee admission at the border.
Official eligibility and travel information can change. Check the latest GOV.UK ETA guidance (opens in a new tab) before relying on information for a journey.
8. Third-party services and links
The website relies on third-party services, including Google Firebase for application storage, Authorize.net for payment processing, and analytics and advertising services described in our Privacy Policy. Those providers operate under their own terms and policies.
Links to GOV.UK, tour providers or other external websites are supplied for convenience. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their availability, content, prices, decisions or services. A third party’s own terms apply when you use its website or buy its products.
9. Privacy and application data
Our Privacy Policy explains what information the application uses, how it is stored, how payment data is handled and the choices available to you. You must have authority to provide any personal information submitted through the service.
10. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its security, submit unlawful or fraudulent material, impersonate another person without authority, or use automated methods to overload or extract information from the service. We may suspend work where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, security risks or a material breach of these terms.
11. Availability and liability
We take reasonable care in operating the website and providing the service, but internet and third-party systems may sometimes be unavailable or contain errors. We are not responsible for events outside our reasonable control.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, missed travel, lost profits or losses caused by a government or border decision. Where liability can lawfully be limited, our total liability relating to the paid service will not exceed the amount you paid for that service.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.
12. Changes to the service or these terms
We may update the website or these terms to reflect changes in the service, law, security or third-party requirements. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Changes will not retroactively reduce rights relating to a service already purchased unless required by law or agreed with you.
13. Applicable rights and disputes
Mandatory consumer protections that apply to you remain unaffected. If a dispute cannot be resolved through support, it may be brought before a court or dispute-resolution body that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
14. Contact and complaints
For service questions, cancellations or complaints, email admin@etraveladvisor.org and include your application reference. We may ask you to verify that you are authorised to discuss the application before disclosing information.
Use only official GOV.UK messages as evidence of an ETA decision. A receipt or payment confirmation from ETA-UK.info is confirmation of payment for this independent service only.
